The folding mechanism works with so-called film hinges made of the same EPP material. Film hinges connect the individual parts without gaps and barely visible, they seal the edges tightly and thus improve the insulation.
Whether folded or assembled, the collapsible box can be stacked without slipping, thanks to the locking knobs on the lid and base.
